In less then 4 weeks the world professional surfing tour hits France. The worlds top surfers will battle it out on the 9th stop of the world tour right here in Hossegor, only 15 minutes from the surf camp. September is famous for being the best time of year to score great uncrowded waves in France. Why not join us for a week of surfing lessons and come watch the world tour with us? The season is slowly drawing to a close, we are starting to get amazing waves coupled with great weather here in Moliets and the surf lessons have been going great. The New Movie of our Surf Lessons in Moliets – France

Another great couple of weeks and amazing surf teaching conditions. The weather and surf for the most part have been fantastic and the results showed in everyones surfing. We have had such a great few weeks with all the guests and would like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to all of those who made it such an enjoyable experience at the surf camp in France. We have been overloaded with emails and text messages expressing thanks to the whole team at star surf camps and as the video shows, our enthusiasm and passion for teaching really does have great results with all guests surfing improving massively by the end of their stay. We are soon to add a Morocco surf camp to our destinations and will have videos and pictures of our Bali surf camp in action and a Morocco preview added to the site in the next couple of weeks.

Here is a short movie made over the last week. Perfect waves, great weather and an amazing week of surf lessons at our surf camp in France. Each week we will upload a video of the weeks highlights, surfing in Moliets, surf camp life and the evenings activities such as the parties in San Sebastian and L’open! The surf camp has had a few days of redecoration, the party tent has had a complete makeover and the new guests are loving the amazing food coming out of the kitchen and the great brand new surf equipment available for use during surf lessons. Great Start to the Season

Perfect weather and waves have blessed our recent guests. We have had some of our most successful and enjoyable surf lessons here in France and a short video of the crews achievements will be online in the coming days. The surf camp looks great and there are rumors circulating of an imminent trip to Pamplona for the annual running of the bulls so remember to check back for updates in the coming days. Sami keeps calling to let us know the Bali surf tour is going extremely well with everyone having a great time and completing their bungee jump…well done guys! Surfing in France can occasionally be a love hate relationship but its easy to see why France is one of the most popular and famous surf destinations in the world at this time of year. The Aviso demo day was a great opportunity for everyone to try such technologically advanced and beautiful boards, Alex and Ki from the surfboardshed.com have done a great job of explaining the intricacies of board design and the carbon technology to everyone who chose to participate in the surf camp. Finally a huge well done to all the guys who completed their lifeguard training and their BSA Level 1 and 2 surf instructor courses with us and thank you to Stu and Occy for running such a rewarding and professional course.

Wow, what an amazing 3 weeks it has been since our last update on the blog. The camp is now completely built, we have 30 customers for our opening week and the surf lessons, food and waves have been amazing. The camp is even better then expected with great equipment, accommodation and above all space to play, sunbathe and of course provide ample space for the table tennis and beer pong tournaments! We will be updating the website with even more pictures over the next week, but for now here is a taster of what’s in store for you when you come to join us at our France surf camp. I would also like to apologize to those of you who emailed enquiries over the previous weeks, we are a surf company run by the people you live with in the camp. We are not a large multinational corporation, we are simply a team of talented, passionate and professional people who’s sole purpose is to provide the best possible surfing holiday in France. As a result it may take a little longer for us to reply to your emails but rest assured you are talking straight to the people you will be staying with at the camp so its definitely worth the wait. Become a Beach Lifeguard and Surf Instructor

We are running the first of our Beach Lifeguard and Surf Instructor training weeks in early June.

You will undergo a weeks training in preparation for your examination on the final day of the course.

Upon completion of the course all participants gain their internationally recognised Beach Lifeguard and Surf Instructor Qualifications.

The courses demand a certain amount of personal fitness and determination, but will definitely be one of the most rewarding weeks of your life setting you up for a new career in surf instructing or beach life-guarding anywhere in the world.

Qualification

These are professional qualifications, internationally recognized and valid for 2 -3 years.

Upon completion of the course you will be given your certificates and also assistance in finding work in your new career. Many students choose to gain these qualifications to allow them to work on the beach during their university holidays. It’s not all work however, as you will have plenty of time to surf, relax and enjoy the surf camp environment.

Cost

Each course costs €325 and includes accommodation.
If you want to do your surf instructors course and your beach lifeguard (you need both qualifications to legally teach surfing) then we offer the two at the discounted rate of €600.
